The purpose of this web site is to reunite as many members of the Mathis Family as possible. Our motto is "A Family Reunited." The Mathis Family originated in Pigeon Creek, Alabama in 1887. The family patriarch and matriarch are Henry and Mollie Mathis. To this union were born eleven children, namely, Robert Mathis, Essie Mathis (Reed), Irving Mathis, Eva Mathis (Payne), Thomas Mathis, Lillie Bell Mathis (Jackson), Lucille Mathis (Redmond), Turner Mathis, Leston Mathis, George Mathis and Lola Mae Mathis (Bradley).
